Reviews and Ratings
I had a unique experience with this hotel. The rooms upstairs, which were a bit unusual for us as we booked through Booking, were surprisingly spacious. The service from the staff, while not very friendly, was really helpful. The location, while a little far from the city center, was exceptional for its proximity to Twente University. The dining was mostly excellent, although the scrambled eggs at breakfast were a letdown. Overall, a mixed but worthwhile stay.
The hotel has a unique layout with the living area and bathroom on one floor and the bed upstairs in a loft accessed by an extremely steep staircase. The accommodation was comfortable, consisting of two double beds, a small desk, and a bathroom with just enough space to move around comfortably. The service was friendly, helpful, and professional, offering amenities like room service, dry cleaning, laundry, and a welcome drink. The location is convenient, within walking distance of Twente University and only a short bus ride away from the city center, although there were some cleanliness issues noted like dust and dirt. The dining options were good with a variety of selections, although slightly overpriced. Facilities were adequate.
